Buenos Aires, Dec 18 (NA) – Singer Lali Espósito entered into a dispute on X after an account identified as Mauridios Macri posted an ironic message accusing her of "incoherence" for criticizing the government of Javier Milei while, according to the post, using imported items.
According to an investigation by the Argentine News Agency, the original tweet, shared in recent hours and accompanied by an image of the artist in a car, pointed out that she "drives an Audi, wears an imported cap, and Ray-Ban glasses," in contrast to her critical discourse against the libertarian administration.
Lali and her response. "They're awesome," the singer wrote, clarifying that the questioned accessory belongs to a national brand she is part of.
The artist's reply garnered strong support from her followers, with tens of thousands of likes and retweets, and once again brought to the forefront the debate on the role of public figures in political discussions, the consumption of national products, and the use of social media as a stage for symbolic confrontation.
This exchange occurs in a context where Lali has become a frequent target of criticism for her opinions on the country's economic and social course, while her responses often go viral beyond the entertainment world.
Far from letting the comment pass, Lali responded directly and with an ironic tone: "The glasses are from my own line. I highly recommend them!"
